GRANNY CART GANGSTAS presents

HERE, KITTY, KITTY!

The red tides are raging to turn the course of herstory. In the age of Trump, Granny Cart Gangstas respond in the only way they know how - comedy. These comedians have been at it since 2013, and their vags persist to resist. This year, expect the grannies to tickle your panties with all-new sketches exploring the mundane & absurd. Find lola at the casino, woke boats, a dead body, and more for a 2-week run production of HERE KITTY KITTY: The P*ssy Bites Back.

GRANNY CART GANGSTAS is an all-women, all-Asian-American sketch comedy troupe out of Bindlestiff Studio, the only Filipino-American theater space in the United States.

Featuring: Alexis Dayers | Aureen Almario | Aura San Miguel | Ava Tong | Dianne Chui | Felicia Jacobe | Julie Kuwabara | Kathlyn Cabrera | Lauren Garcia | Lynie Abadilla | Nic Feliciano | Paula Sison | Sunshine Roque | Tatiana Dayers | TJ Basa | Thuy Tran

In celebration of Womxn’s History Month, AAWAA presents HOLY TRINITY, which features the artwork of three Bay Area Pinay (Filipinx womxn) artists: nicole gervacio, Monica Magtoto, and Cianna Valley. Curated by Melanie Rose, portraits confront the viewer with females in their multitudes...as warriors, nurses, goddesses, matriarchs, nymphs, and priestesses. They implore you to bear witness and pay tribute to your inner and collective Divine Feminine.

On display throughout the month of March in Bindlestiff's lobby and mezzanine.

THE GEEK SHOW 2: BINDLECON
TICKETS ONSALE NOW!

After a successful first run last year,  “The Geek Show” is back!

Conceived by producers Thomas Paras and Marc Abrigo, “The Geek Show” is both a love letter and a critique on contemporary geek culture. From comedy sketches to dramatic pieces, the multi-genre theatre production brings together the passionate, the ostracized, and the awkward in celebration of everything under the umbrella of geekdom.

This upcoming iteration of “The Geek Show” will be a little different, for all the stories presented will be set entirely within a convention. The roof is ripped off of a convention center, as interconnected stories emerge from this one day at the geek fest that is BindleCon. From the story of a first-time con-goer, to a showdown of seasoned geek parents, and the exciting life as a rover a la “Law and Order,” expect for ground of a different kind to be covered, all the while staying true to exploring the life and journey of geeks everywhere.

“The Geek Show 2: BindleCon”

April 12-28, Thursday - Saturday, 8pm
